Welcome to CODOMIZER Challenge of Takshak 24, hosted by the Computer Applications Department at Mar Athanasius College of Engineering, Kothamangalam! This event is crafted to test your problem-solving abilities and algorithmic knowledge.

Competition Format

• Eligibility: Participation is open to all undergraduate (UG) students.
• Type: Individual
• Permitted Tools: Pen and paper is allowed. Paper will be provided.
• Structure: The competition consists of three progressive rounds: Quiz, Coding, and Hard level Coding

General Rules and Regulations

• Identification: Participants must carry their college ID.
• No Extra Time: The event will start on schedule, and organizers won't be responsible for overlaps with other events.
• No Refunds: Once registered, there will be no refunds. Make sure you're ready for the challenge before committing!
• The decisions made by the judging panel will be final and binding. No appeals or re-evaluations will be entertained.
• Any form of misconduct, including cheating or disruptive behavior, will result in immediate disqualification. Participants are strictly prohibited from using unauthorized devices such as mobile phones or smartwatches during the competition.
• All participants are expected to be punctual, as the event will begin as scheduled. Any rule changes or updates will be communicated before the event starts. The decisions made by the event coordinators are final. Winners will be awarded for 1st , 2nd and 3rd place, while all participants will receive participation certificates.

Competition Format

Round 1: Quiz
- Mode: Offline
- Duration: 20 minutes
- Number of Questions: 20
- Topics Covered:
- Data Structures and Algorithms
- Database Management Systems (DBMS)
- Programming Languages: C, C++, Java, Python, PHP, JavaScript
- Scoring: Each correct answer will earn 1 point, with a maximum score of 20.
- Advancement Criteria: The top 10-15 participants, based on highest scores, will progress to Round 2.

Round 2: Coding
• Duration: 1 hour
• Task: Participants will be presented with a coding problem, aimed at evaluating their problem-solving abilities, algorithmic knowledge, and proficiency with data structures.
• Evaluation Criteria: Solutions will be assessed based on correctness, efficiency, and computational performance (time and space complexity).
• Advancement Criteria: The top 5 performers will qualify for the final round.
• Languages: Any programming language supported by HackerRank.

Round 3: Coding
• Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes
• Task: Participants will be tasked with solving an advanced problem that tests their knowledge of complex data structures, algorithm design, and real-world problem-solving.
• Languages : C++, Java, python
• Evaluation Criteria: Solutions will be graded based on correctness, optimization, and efficiency.
Winner Declaration: The participant with the highest score in this round will be declared the overall winner.
